The team at Hello Housing is excited to be growing Hello Rehab, a program launched in 2014 to help our government partners provide grants and loans for low income homeowners to perform important health and safety repairs, helping long-time residents stay in their community.

A Rehab Specialist is responsible for (1) coordinating with the Hello Rehab Program Manager to ensure applicants are eligible for the program (2) performing inspections to evaluate costs and eligibility for the program, (3) interfacing with applicants from inquiry through construction completion, (4) interfacing with City staff to obtain approvals, signatures and to process payments and (4) interfacing with contractors to obtain/review bids and ensure quality construction. Hello Stewardship manages a portfolio of affordable homeownership units with a market value of over $500 million as well as portfolios of down payment assistance and rehab loans. With home prices skyrocketing once again, and more and more working families being priced out of the Bay Area, this work is more important than ever.

A Program Manager manages the ins and outs of a variety of affordable homeownership programs on behalf of multiple Bay Area cities, connecting daily with homebuyers, homeowners, lenders, and City staff. Learn more.
