If your household size meets the requirements for one of these 9 BMP units, you may apply for an opportunity at more than one of the units. The pre-application will require that you obtain a mortgage pre-approval from one of our preferred lenders as part of your submission. Eligible pre-applications received by the XX deadline will be invited to attend a Mandatory Workshop to learn about the City's BMP program requirements as well as how to submit a full application that will also include submitting supporting income and preference point documentation.
Following the Mandatory Workshop, all registered and confirmed attendees will be entered into the Application Lotteries for the selected unit. Applicants will be invited to submit a Purchase Application in lottery ranking order for an opportunity to purchase one of these units should the applicant household meet all of the program eligibility requirements following review of the submitted materials.
To qualify, applicants must meet the minimum and not exceed the maximum household size for the unit that you are applying for as well as meet the program criteria established by the City’s Below Market Purchase (BMP) Program. Learn more about the qualification process here.
