Hello Housing offers ongoing assistance to current homeowners in the BMR program who may be considering selling, refinancing, or making improvements to their properties. We are also available to address any questions regarding compliance with the BMR Program.
The BMR Program does not currently have any new BMR units in the development pipeline that are ready for purchase. However, existing BMR owners occasionally seek to sell their homes. When a new BMR resale is available, we will notify households on our "Stay Connected" e-newsletter with information on the home that is being sold, max income limits of potential buyers and the application process. Seeking to sell your
BMR Home?
BMR resale procedures vary based on the number of years you have owned your home and terms noted in your Resale Restriction Agreement, which is an agreement that you signed when you purchased your home. Should you be interested in selling your BMR home and would like to understand the process, please contact our offices by email at the email address noted below.
If you have decided that you are ready to sell your home, you will first need to issue the City a “Notice of Intended Transfer.” This document should be sent only when you are ready to officially sell your home.

Annual BMR Compliance Monitoring
As the BMR Program Administrator, Hello Housing is here to support existing homeowners comply with the BMR Program requirements including annual owner-occupancy reporting. Each year our team will reach out to existing homeowners to help them through the verification process, providing support and resources where needed.
